Residential Real Estate and Joining Pangle & Associates….
I have long wanted to get into Residential Real Estate. I love exploring Loudoun County, looking at homes both old and new, thinking about what I would do with different properties if they were mine, and most of all being a part of helping people realize their dreams.
With the support of my husband, Chuck, and our four kids, Alexandra, Samantha, Ben, and Andrew my opportunity to go into Residential Real Estate came this year (2013)! As I was taking the licensing course, I started researching the type of brokerage and company that I would like to be a part of. A dear friend of mine who has been in Real Estate for several years told me to talk to Gwen to gain insight into the industry and to get advice. Gwen’s professionalism, enthusiasm about the industry, and willingness to take time out of her busy day to help a complete stranger (me) is what sold me that day on Pangle & Associates. I feel honored to be a part of this family oriented company and look forward to helping people and “making clients for life”!
Living in Loudoun….
I have lived in Northern Virginia for 20 years, the last 16 of which I have lived in Loudoun County. My children have been raised here. They have attended Loudoun County public schools for the last 12 years and they have participated in Loudoun County sports leagues for the last 10 years. We enjoy taking advantage of all of the activities available to us in Loudoun County. This is home!
I grew up in Branson, Missouri where my family owned and operated resorts on Table Rock Lake. I worked at the resorts through Middle School, High School, and College. After college, I remained in Missouri and was the General Manager of one of the resorts for 2 years. If you ever plan a trip to Branson, give me a call! I can offer some suggestions on activities while you are there.
With my degree in Business Education, I went on to teach business courses at a Junior College in Springfield, Missouri for 3 years. I found teaching to be very fulfilling. I had the opportunity to help young adults and adults re-entering the workforce to get started on new career paths.
I moved to Virginia in 1993 where I worked for a government contractor for 20 years. During that time I worked in Business Administration, developed training programs, and managed federal government customer programs. For 7 of those 20 years I managed my organization’s Real Estate Portfolio which was worth $82.4M annually. I also found properties and managed build-outs for our federal government customers. This started my passion for the world of Real Estate!
